Game Plan is expanding mental health support for all National Team Athletes through a new partnership with Homewood Health, the official Mental Health Services Provider for Team Canada.
What’s New
Through Homewood Health, athletes now have access to the following:
- 24/7 crisis support via toll-free line or online
- Solution-focused counselling (up to 6 sessions per case)
- Enhanced Mental Health Care (up to 20 sessions for complex concerns)
- Digital CBT and self-directed wellness resources
- Wellness Coaching for life stress, parenting, financial concerns, and more

What’s Staying the Same
Athletes still have access to up to $2,500/year in sport-informed mental health care through Game Plan. How to access this funding can be found here. This funding support is available to current Sport Canada carded athletes, and those who were carded within the past two years.
