The “Board Self-Assessment Tool and Guidelines”, prepared by the Dalhousie University College of Continuing Education, is designed for improving the governance practices of non-profit organizations and is meant to be used as an annual board evaluation. It is best used to stimulate reflection and discussion. Boards are encouraged to use this toolkit in the creation and development of their own unique board self-evaluation tool.
